These terms describe the use of the-iin.com and its inquiry and optional messaging services. The website is operated by Jerry Hampton under the name The Independent Insurance Network ("IIN").
Website information
This website provides general information about insurance assistance and opportunities for insurance agents. It does not provide an individualized coverage recommendation, a binding insurance quote, or legal or tax advice.
Insurance availability, eligibility, premiums, benefits, exclusions, provider participation, and enrollment opportunities depend on the insurer, product, location, and individual circumstances. Applicable policy or plan documents govern coverage. Services are available only where appropriately licensed and authorized.
IIN is an independent insurance business, not a government agency. IIN is not affiliated with or endorsed by Medicare or the federal government. Information on this website does not establish that IIN represents every insurer or plan available in your area.
Inquiries and coverage
Submitting a website form or exchanging messages with IIN does not apply for, enroll you in, bind, change, or cancel insurance coverage. These actions require the appropriate application or enrollment process and authorizations.
Do not assume coverage has taken effect or changed based solely on an inquiry or message. Confirm coverage and effective dates through the applicable insurer or enrollment process.
Contact requests
When you request a response, we use the contact information and preferences you provide to follow up about that request. A general inquiry does not automatically enroll you in promotional text messages or authorize an insurance application.
Any additional permissions needed for Medicare appointments, Marketplace assistance, applications, or enrollment are handled separately. Website terms and general contact preferences do not replace those permissions.
Information you submit
Provide accurate contact information and submit information only for yourself or someone you are authorized to assist. Do not use website forms to send Social Security numbers, Medicare identification numbers, payment details, medical records, or other sensitive documents. We will explain how to provide additional information when needed.
Text messaging
Availability: Our business texting service is pending activation. Until it is available, please contact us by email. The following terms describe the optional program when activated.
Jerry Hampton / The Independent Insurance Network offers optional texts about appointment scheduling, appointment reminders, and responses to requests you have made. The customer-facing business messaging number is 469-940-6335.
You must separately opt in to this service. Providing a number or submitting a general inquiry does not automatically enroll you. Texting consent is not a condition of purchasing insurance or receiving assistance.
Message frequency varies with your requests and appointments. Your wireless provider's message and data charges may apply to messages you send or receive.
To unsubscribe, reply STOP. You may receive a final confirmation of your opt-out. After that, program messages will stop unless you opt in again. To restart messages, complete the opt-in process again.
For assistance, reply HELP or email jerry.hampton@the-iin.com. Email is available even if texting is unavailable.
Delivery depends on network availability. Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Please do not send sensitive identification, financial, or medical information by text. Text messages do not bind, change, or cancel insurance. This opt-in does not authorize unrelated promotional campaigns or marketing by other businesses.

Agent opportunities
Descriptions of agent opportunities are general information. They do not guarantee appointment, contracting, compensation, production, renewals, ownership rights, or income. Any working relationship is governed by applicable written agreements, licensing requirements, and carrier approvals.
